You get 3 exp after hit level 36. So basically the method only good till
you reach 36. The easiest way to kill cyclops is invest in Axii. Get
Delusion, Puppet and Axii intensity at max then you can turn it into ally
and keep hitting it without even need to worry about being hit 😛 . Use
Ursine Silver sword for 20% bonus monster exp and any trophy that has 5%
exp from monster.

Try do this on insane difficulty level… Good luck… :)

So if I change the difficulty to easy while grinding and then switch back
to death march, will I still get the trophy for beating the game on death
march?


Thats good to know for when I hit lvl 25ish. Nice place to grind but..what
about around lvl 15? Any areas for that?

This is actually a legit exploit since its only normal for monster to
respawn.

To all of you pretentious, self righteous retards out there saying that
grinding ruins games, well it doesn’t. I just beat the game and I don’t
feel like running around to every single marker to get 25 experience points
and waste hours to get to a certain point so I can use different weapons,
because I want to use the black unicorn steel blade, but it’s a level 46
weapon, I’m at 34 right now, so tell me how running around from point a to
b is better than meditating and killing Cyclops in a fraction of that time
better?! How is that ruining it for me?! Shit it ruins itself. You don’t
have to do it, but it’s there in game for you to use, and it’s not even an
exploit, it respawns just like everything else. I doubt anyone can justify
not grinding, especially on a game like. Also, I haven’t tested this yet,
but wild hunt ghosts in the cave during the sunstone quest provide 50
experience. Haven’t checked to see if they respawn quickly or at all but
it’s worth a shot, since 2 to 3 attack you at a time.

the max lvl is 70!! omFg! how can i get lvl 70?

Just West of this place and not too far from Gedyneith is a chest guarded
by an Earth Elemental. He respawns everytime you meditate

A shame it doesn’t work after lvl 36

and it also help if you have xp buff items equipped such as witcher gear
and swords some give as much as 20% xp. I believe its the Griffin gear that
has that and blades have, I think its 5% xp buff.. Personally I would
rather have had a NG+ in this game and that Whole you can unlock every
skill and ability there is.. BUT you can only use 12 of those 70..

Guess I’ll have to do this now, those god damn fucking idiots at CD Projekt
Red can’t seem too fix this xp problem. So I’ll have to exploit the lost xp
back.

On pc we can spawn enemies out of nothing. So this is kinda useless

This work until you are level 36. Then you dont get xp by killing him
anymore.

After awhile it doesn’t give a lot of xp, went from 65 xp to 4 xp lol I’m
lvl 36 just want lvl 37 for my harpy & longclaw sword 

Well I’m only getting 2 xp per Cyclops now

on the quest into the mist i was around 22 when i finished that quest i was
level 27 or 28.

Patched they made it that he doesn’t sell them any more

I just finished the story and this was the last trophy I needed for
platinum and when I had to grind XP I went to the passiflora and it took a
great screen cap to go next to the platinum trophy.

i kill that cyclops at level 19
you can kill enemies of higher levels if you know how to play using sings ,
oils and bombs
i was able to kill a cockatrice ok 12 level higher than me using those.

i cant believe people complain about this, surely this is a choice you if
you dint want to do it don’t

I’ve got a Problem. Since I reached Level 36 killing the Monster only gets
me 2 instead of 63 Xp/kill. Does anyone know why??

Why would I ever need a xp boost if I am already level 30?

I played this game thoroughly, did as many quests as I could, finished all
the contracts, slain many beasts, did all the secondary quests I could have
found and did ALL of the “main” secondary quests. So I know what I’m
talking about.

Once you reach level 30 you basically have all you need to taking down the
cyclops for 1 hour to farm 8000 xp is pretty dull boring and useless since
you already have all you are gonna need.

The thing that gave me the most xp was the last-ish main quests. Quests
like when you find Ciri… Main story at Kaer Morhen… And then what
happens after as well…

Those got me from level 25-26 to level 32-33 in no time. Just did them and
then when I got to Act 3 (I think it’s act 3) its basically the part AFTER
Kaer Morhen.. Anyway when i got there I had lvl 32 and thus my final
challenge was to get master crafted armor.

If there’s a way to boost xp from the beginning I’d love to know how since
I hate the fact that I must wait to basically the (LITERALLY) end of the
game to use Mastercrafted armor… It sucks completely because once you
finish the game there’s no reason to continue… There’s just peasants
everywhere and no motive to continue “living”…

You’ll get the feeling when you finish the story yourselves…

Anyway… If there’s a way to do this earlier I’ll gladly take it, but
doing it from level 30 upwards is kind of useless since when I got there my
story was already way too advanced.

I found a spot nearby the Big Tree South-East Velen, take the fast-travel
Cross-road on the South-East side of the map, then walk West heading toward
the Big Tree. You’ll see a level 33 Basilisk which respawn upon meditating.
It gives 65 exp if I’m not mistaken.

i’m lvl 36 and it doesn’t work… didn’t get any exp from your way

any player can reach level 35 by completing all of the main quests, this
cyclops can only be farmed until geralt is level 36 (cyclops is level 30,
or 6 levels above) before level 36 killing this guy will give you 60-80 exp
(unsure of exact quantity) afterwards he will give you 3 exp… the key
leveling up further is to find higher level enemies and kill them and then
meditate so they respawn (for example there is a level 32 basilisk in the
northern most smaller skellige islands, he can be effectively farmed for
exp until level 38, at which point he is useless), additionally there is a
level 48 archgriffin (strongest level enemy so far in the game) on the
northern island directly above ard skellige, however I am trying to find an
intermediary creature which is at level 35-40 to farm exp from first, does
anybody know of any creatures between 35-40 in the game? all in all it is
possible to reach level 54 via this method…

Only works until level 36. I wanted the levels to beat the Archgriffin on
the island north of Ard Skellig.

if u want to fight a tougher opponent near place of power near road to bald
mountain is a level 32 basilisk real tough bastard if u want to test your
skill check him out if that big dude gives u 51 xp per kill this should
give u more than that since this dude is level 32 it also respawns every
one hour meditation I recommend to be atleast level 30 to tackle this guys
as it has poison spit as well as huge claws and choppers lol good luck and
good hunting

Just to let people know: after lvl 36 this exploit gives you only 3xp each
time you kill him.So its good up to lvl 36

I’m going to go ahead and disregard this video. Being that I’m playing on
blood and broken bones or whatever and you don’t regenerate vitality while
meditating AND me not being anywhere close to a good witcher player, he’s
going to kick my fucking ass.

You can farm the cow monster, you don’t even need to meditate to do that

The thing is, the sex scenes do relate to trophies since you only get those
sex scenes for completing relationships with the different love interests.

I’m having fun without grinding, but I won’t dismiss this yet. 

got up to level 39 just random killing monster however after u finish the
game theres not much to do to except grinding if u want to level up quick
go to bald mountain kill foglets there it should give you more xp
cause they are level 26 and there 6 of them now if u want more xp theres
also a level 14 forktails and a level 32 cockatrices near by the destroyed
bastion to find them both just head to the big tree up ahead

use a trophy that allows you to get 5% more xp from monsters
and you’ll get more !

New DLC armor is Level 41 and I am only Level 36 thanks to the XP glitch at
the end of quests. I have all story missions, witcher contracts and
noteworthy side quests completed.

any good post game xp farming? the undvik armor is lvl 41 and i am at 38.
There are no quests left…

Fastest way to kill any cyclops is to use Northern Wind to freeze them then
attack from behind, preferably with the whirl ability. At lvl 34 and using
the Superior blade oil and a Master ursine blade it only take about 6
seconds to kill him and it’s practically without risk. Good method for
leveling up once you’ve finished all the quests

does anyone no if this is patced im curently level 31 and xp is taking ages
to gain got one last side quest that i cant do as it is glitched story
quests complete on (death march)

And what if im lvl12…

yea i do have a better way for farming xp. 50 xp per every 2 second i went
from lvl 20 to 40 in lest than an hour and its no cheat its just an simple
quest actually. am gona upload the video soon

This would be cool/useful if you could do it at like lvl 10. I was a level
34 when I finished the main quests so the trophy didn’t take long to get.

I am completely new to this game and I am struggling with levelling up
Geralt, upgrading my weapons, armour etc. Could someone give me a few
beginner’s tips? I am currently in level 3 trying to beat a giant harrisi
in a side quest…. I can’t get out of the cave and I’m not strong enough
to fight it. ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! :))

I did this till I got to 36 after that it was 1xp per kill.

Only about 35 – 40 XP at level 25 so even if you kill 2 per min would not
equal 8kXP per hour. and that’s even with the 5% XP buff. But otherwise
decent farming spot thanks.

i killed this Cyclops at level 24 its easy just use axii then puppet him
then hit him like 10 or 11 time then back up at puppet him again

I did this only after I had finished everything else in order to get that
level 35 trophy…I only had to level up twice for this…lol.

A lot of you don’t seem to get that even if you do all the side quests you
still won’t hit 35 unless you do them in the right order and that goes for
every single one. I did this on my second play through and got to 36 after
finishing the story. I did all side quests points of interest ect. This is
a good way to get the trophy if you want to hit 35 before the end or if you
finish and you aren’t 35 but still want the trophy

Some tips:
hits ennemies from behind.
Get the offense skill that makes you dance fighting while holding Square.
You kill them in about 3-4 second.

Got myself the 2k xp I needed in about 6 minutes

Just need for them to fix the gwent trophy now.. so I can have my plat =_=

I only did this to look good with superior gear haha

I just finished the game on deathmarch difficulty and I finished at lvl 33
missing around 400XP till lvl 34.
Looks like I haven’t done all the quests because I’m supposed to be 35.
I tried really hard all of the quests that were visible ar done and then
some.
So thanks for showing this!

just use path of warriors quest glitch. makes this nothing but still
helpful guide for people who don’t know about the glitch.

trophy. Btw am using version 1.5- I haven’t updated it ever since then, if
anyone is wondering.

are you aware of the XP glitch on the the quest ‘the path of warriors’ if
you got the top of the mountain first (doing all the platforming) and get
the shall (trial of dex completion token in your inventory), next to the
place of power BEFORE starting the quest. With it in your possession you
can speak to gunnar and then go to the start of the mountain path which
gives you 50XP (which is right next to where he sits) and then speak to
gunnar again you can do it over and over giving you 50XP each time and it
takes seconds. I blasted from level 24 to 34 in probably 20minutes…

I’m almost lvl 30 and I’m assuming I still have plenty of story mode left.
Barely just faught the hunt for the first time. There are plenty collateral
to do this with. Luckily I haven’t had to farm much at all. Being I’m on
the easy mode. This game is legit. I got so frustrated play in on the
higher difficulties. Yet I still have a hard time on easy. For those saying
easier modes is easy, it’s still mot easy. Absolutely love this game.
Havemt like a game like this since boulders gate dark alliance. 

He gives only 2 point XP! WTF?

I think i got that late because at level 36 u will eventually stop getting
that amount of xp from him. You will get 3 per kill. Anyways thanks for
good way to farm some money and some xp in next gameplays

Doesn’t work anymore :(. Worked for a bit (I was actually getting 72 XP)
but now I get 2 XP if I kill him, 3 if I kill him on death march.

God damn, I think they patched it. I’m only getting 3xp rather than 60. And
I’m sick of everyone complaining “why would you do that, it’s boring” or
“that breaks the game”. So what? I can play the game I payed for however I
like. It allows me reach parts I want to reach. Would you not wear armor
just because people say it is overpowered? Let people play their games the
way they want to. The industry is so fucking unfair to console gamers.
What, we found something yall fucked up on so we can still have fun in our
own right? Well then don’t patch it. It’s not like everyone is going to do
against their will. If someone thinks it’s boring and breaking the game,
then they can DECIDE NOT TO DO IT! I don’t understand why people can’t
comprehend that. Console gamers get exploits taken away, while PC gamers
are allowed to mod and “create”. If you create a game, then sell someone

Thanks for sharing! I have had completed all side quests and witcher
contracts available and could only reach level 27. I wanted to reach level
34 to get master-crafted witcher gear before continuing on to Isle of
Mists. I have been doing this for just 1 hour + and my levels had jumped by
3 levels, far faster than what I was able to achieve previously. Definitely
a must for players who want to get to at least level 34 before proceeding
on to the Isle of Mist main quest.

i saw the thumbnail and got so excited ahah but i realised im only lvl 7
anf have never seen this cyclops yet hahah damn

Best point out that after level 36 you only get about 3xp for beating the
cyclops so this exploit only works for levels before that.

easiest way to get xp is the path of warrior glitch. I’m in the highest
level that I don’t even get xp anymore
