Hi everyone! Today, we’re unveiling more of The Surge’s fast, technical combat system in a brand new combat trailer.
Make use of vertical and horizontal attacks, as well as strike power, to target and dismember specific limbs, so you can loot what you cut. Looting upgrades for your exo-suit is key to progressing in The Surge, and surviving challenging physically based combat situations is a matter of skill.
Positioning and speed are vital, so make use of your exo-enhanced dodges, blocks, ducks and jumps to avoid attacks while managing stamina, ensuring you’re always in the right place to strike the limb you want, or to avoid a potentially damning blow.
Throughout your journey you’ll be assisted by your industrial drone, with abilities once used for CREO’s industrial needs now manipulated into a fighting machine. Shield yourself, or Burn, knock down, pull, and blast enemies at your will as you continue to fight in melee.

ReplySeems the devs behind Lords of the Fallen have learned from their mistake of making every wepon have a very slow swing time. Good. Cus not even the SOuls series had wepons that slow. Wish them luck. Cus this looks rather intersting.

Replyi really hope they can redeem themselves after their terrible debut (correct me if im wrong about that) “lords of the fail”. not very good, but then again neither was dark souls 2 and look what theyve done since. this game really looks like they could be taking the right direction and hopefully this game will find its place in my heart like so many other souls like titles. and even though Nioh was a marvelous game, it didnt completely do it for me. So i hope this game can pick up where nioh left off.

ReplyCan the main character be anymore generic… that jump dodge also looks pretty awkward. Still willing to give this a chance but it is not looking good. Also insta-kills at low health? That’s not challenging at all :/
