PlayStation 4 Pro Information – Will You Benefit from PS4 Pro 4K and HDR? Probably Not #PS4Pro

i got a platinium trophy today :)

Why are people butthurt with the 4k blu ray player. Why buys consoles to
watch movies. I mean dont get me wrong me and my girl watch movies on the
weekend and i use my ps4 but its not a big deal to me. As long as i can
still watch movies on my ps4.

cool story….. now I’m gonna punch into work and finish resident evil 5 on
veteran difficulty when i get home :)

your gonna see a difference in 1080p way better then now you will not get
the full detail but it will look a hell of a lot better

Hey but doesn’t the hdmi 1.4 limit or stop hdr from being outputted? I
thought you need him 2.0 and above to output hdr or 4k?

i wish they would fix the cheap and poorly designed triggers on the
controller instead of adding a stupid light bar to the touch pad.

You know people aren’t playing games when they’re fighting over a 4k
blu-ray player.

I can’t afford those tvs so no ps4 pro for me. I don’t need one anyway I
got a ps4. Good enough.

What about the people that don’t have enough Internet speed to stream 4K I
think they’re forgetting about that!!! And it’s not through our full it’s
just there’s not better Internet available for a lot of people in America.
Unless you live in a city you’re pretty much fucked. Rural Internet is
atrocious. I’m stuck on 3 Mb per second Verizon DSL and I don’t suspect
getting off of that anytime soon because they don’t seem to care! Since
that’s my only Internet choice I’m fucked for 4K

Unless your 4K tv has HDR the Pro is redundant,you simply won’t be getting
the best out of it.So anyone with a 4K tv before mid 2015 is not gonna get
the full benefit if they buy a pro.

I have a question if anyone can help me, Im about to buy a 4k tv it does
not have HDR though but my question is, is the 4k resolution irrelevant
though? Like is it 100% pointless is 1080p still better than 4k? Im lost on
it it seems like most folks downplay 4k and so I should pretty much just
stick to 1080p 720p

Thank you for this informative video explaining this. I’ve already have a
PS4, I don’t think I’ll make the upgrade to Pro but if I didn’t I would’ve
got the Pro. But my PS4 is in well good condition and I don’t have a 4K Tv
just a standard 1080p Tv, you’ve explained they’ll be making an update for
PS4 to bump it up but it still won’t make a difference because you need a
new Tv or what?

everyone who has a pa4 is gonna have hdr anyways so 4k sucks

So essentially just get yourself a TV that is HDR compatible and stick with
your current Ps4.

It doesn’t matter that the ps4 pro doesn’t have a 4K blue ray player
because you will be able to buy 4K movies on the ps store

i dont think is a good idea to buy this shit you have to buy tv 4k with ps4
pro . and for what ? they only aiming to gain more money from us first you
have to pay to play online unlike ps3 and now a new useless console . they
could release ps4 in 2014 on 4k with more powerful graphic but why we do
that when we could release multiple console to gain more money from gamers
i wont buy it and dont even care about it im ok with my ps4 anyway . thanks

The real problem is that there is no 4K + HDR TV with GameMode. You can not
activate that together. That means you have a input lag from 120 to 200ms.
There is 1 Panasonic who has only 40ms input lag in 4K + HDR *still no
gamemode* but it’s the expensive one in the entire tv lineup. So i think we
have to wait till 2017 when Tvs come out who can handel that. :(
