oh look, black panther, a character I legitimately wanted once, is just discount wolverine now
and any enjoyment I’d get of seeing him in the game is ruined by that fact, and the like of arcade mode endings, so for a casual, there is absolutely NO REASON to buy any of the dlc.

I’ll pick up the game when it’s cheap

This game hasn’t even been out 6 months and it already has dlc characters, it’s like they don’t even try anymore when cutting content from the game to sell you a ‘character pass’.

I’m glad Black Panther, Black Widow, and Winter Soldier are coming to the game but I hate how many new characters are just replacing X-Men. If they’re new make completely new characters. Outside of the fact it makes it easier to bring Wolverine, Magneto, Deadpool, and Cyclops back later it just makes the overall package seem cheaper. I want X-Men they’re a staple of Marvel whether they like it or not until they get the movie rights back but it’s still exiting to see new characters and the fact Gamora is just a replacement for Deadpool and I assume Black panther for Wolverine makes me care way less about playing them. By the way if you’re going for an MCU roster on the Marvel side they could’ve done a bit better. Nova and Venom haven’t been introduced yet and Dormammu looks like his comic counterpart but the MCU version is just a weird, giant, wavy, purple head. I guess it’s just weird to me that considering their priorities those characters made the cut instead of Ant-Man, Star-Lord, Drax, Ronan, Loki, Daredevil, Iron Fist (who was in the previous game), Punisher, Quake, or Black Bolt.

Lol the few ppl who bought this game at launch fot finnesed. The dlc characters releasing this fast shows Capcom screwed up. The Ultimate edition with all the dlc and up to date patches is coming sooner rather than later.

Think about it.
You’d have half the cast but all new characters that are interesting
