Furi’s combat gameplay is designed with Japanese games in mind — ultra fast-paced and responsive. Your character moves as soon as you send an input. Skills and reflexes are required to dodge and parry the enemies’ attacks. You beat your enemies by shooting like in a bullet hell shoot ’em up, and by swordfighting like in a samurai duel.

Just read the PSBlog. The characters were designed by Afro creator Takashi
Okazaki. That explains it. And the post also talks about how the boss
battle is versus someone not overly powerful or large but like your rival.
I have been waiting for someone to use those words for years. Big bosses
are cool but there’s nothing like fighting someone who is on your level and
the battle is like a movie. A ballet if you will. It’s like the boss fight
in DMC2 or Wolverine versus Sabertooth in Xmen Origins. It’s going to feel
super organic I bet.

This game resembles El Shaddai very strongly I just hope that its as
satisfying because The Ascension to Metatron was amazing.
I love Play Station because japan games like this one.
I liked the concept and art style of the game, but the gameplay sections it
showed look kinda shallow and boring to be. BUT the music! Jeez, its
eargasm. Anyone knows if its an existing band/artist? Or is it the game’s
music? Anyone who might know please tell me. It kinda sounds like Power
