Demon’s Crystals, the local co-op twin stick shooter has launched on PlayStation 4.
The Urican have always been at the top of the food pyramid. But now these astral demons must fight for their own survival. Then one day three mysterious entities called Sarkon, Ghoros, and Ornak arrive bringing with them a worldwide change. Suddenly the once peaceful inhabitants of the world are aggressive and destructful, acting as if they are possessed.
Urican demons are dependent on their life source: crystals. Now they must face off against the other beings of the world to recover these crystals. Luckily they are a plentiful resource. Help the demons collect as many crystals as possible and show no mercy to anything that stands in your way!
Featuring eight different game modes, Demon’s Crystals colourful visuals, addictive co-op action, and intense arcade gameplay are sure to leave a lasting memory on twin-stick shooter fans. Controlling your Urican is as simple as pointing your character in the right direction – and shooting! New weapons and power-ups are auto-equipped as you find them – and they’ll expire when you run out of time. Be mindful of your surroundings, shoot to kill, and make the most of each equipped weapon *and* power-up to give the horde some lasting, painful memories.

ReplyYou know, with the word “crystal” in the title I expected it to be another stupid bejeweled style game or something along those lines. I’m actually really okay with this. Looks fun.
ReplyDid this come to WiiWare or something? Looks very familiar.
ReplySony, ban top down shooters, until there is a demand for them. Too many of them on PSN.
ReplySony are letting too many of these mobile game ports onto the store.

ReplyAWWW….I thought it was going to be a sequel to Demon’s Crest….Good lord does that game series need a reboot…Forget Arthur, FIREBRAND FTW
ReplyDoes this have online co-op?
ReplyI bought it. Although the production values aren’t as high as Assault Android Cactus, and the characters are all pretty much identical, gameplay-wise, I’m enjoying this game a lot more. The controls feel just right, and the game doesn’t throw any curve balls like dashing for batteries that spawn in, so it’s easy to just relax and play, like the old Stardust games.
I’m only in the second area, so I don’t know if the bullet hellish parts go nuts. (I hope it doesn’t get too crazy.) I like it. The graphics are kinda weak. The character designs are really cool and pretty, but you rarely see any 2D art, which is a crying shame.
All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase.
