Farming for 99 Lives in Crash Bandicoot? Extra lives do not respawn in a level until you reload a save. Find a level you’re comfortable with and once you get the lives you want, finish or quit out of the level. Reload your auto save and all the lives will be available again. Once you get to the end of the game the Castle Machinery level has 29 extra lives right at the beginning if you have the green gem route available. Collect those lives, quit the level, reload your auto save and repeat until you have 99 lives (and the trophy)

What the hell how did you 100% this hard ass game. It’s harder then the original. Since they messed up the jumping.

Or you could just keep replaying this level over and over again to get the green gem constantly playing the same Brio stage over and over again until you start leaving the level with five extra lives after dying just the once.

somehow, I’ve managed to exceed the limit and get 100 lives. no idea how, but it occured during time trials
if you go to the level bee having in crash 2 and go to the first checkpoint and then go to the bees then slide and press Square

The best way to get 99 lives is to hit the bats you can get a life every 30 seconds.
