Experiment 7, Asmodee Digital and Catan Studio are proud to launch Catan VR on PSVR, coming June 25th, 2019!
Catan VR™ is an immersive take on Klaus Teuber’s landmark title that revolutionized tactical modern board gaming. True to the classic, but optimized for virtual reality, Catan VR allows tabletop fans and new players alike to experience the best-selling board game in a fresh, fully-immersive format. Whether taking on other players around the world, or playing against Catan personalities, players can watch the island come to life in VR for the first time, with beautiful in-game environments and cross-play functionality. Created in conjunction with Klaus and Benjamin Teuber, along with the Catan and Asmodee Digital teams, Catan VR brings everything board gamers love to the PSVR featuring crossplay with all major VR platforms.

ReplyPost a 10 h version, im tired of pressing the replay button
ReplyFor those that want to play Cataan but don’t have real world friends. I’ll take 2
ReplyOh, that’s weird. Like joining a cult of invisible board game players… or like pretending to be dead and play a board game as ghosts
ReplyNot what I was expecting, but interesting – hopefully it leads to a dev’d port of “Dead of Winter”
ReplySounds interesting, but will it have a non-vr mode that allows players to play offline on one playstation? If that is the case it will be a must buy.
ReplyCan we get Dungeons and Dragons VR !!
ReplyPlease and thank you
I hope theres an option were i can flip the table
ReplyI see some hate for this type of game but I actually think putting board games in VR is a fantastic idea! I no longer need to fear some dipwad spilling their drink on everything or losing pieces! Plus think of all the extras that could be added, like animations and effects that you couldn’t get in real life, or even customization options.
ReplyBLADE & SORCERY VR ?
ReplyHope there’s monopoly vr to see what jail is like
ReplyCatan is a fun game in all, but I feel like this should have a regular ps4 version as well.
Reply◄ ◄ ◄ Interesting about the game here!
ReplyEuer ernst und dann VR
ReplyHello dad, i cant cheat anymore
ReplySo happy to see this. Catan is my all time number 1 game. Hope it has a plat!
ReplyWhy spend 40 bucks on a board game when you and three friends can spend $1,199.99 and play a virtual board game?
ReplyThat music sounds like it’s for someone’s demo reel lol.
I think I still might get the Switch one instead though
ReplyWhy is this a thing again?
ReplyCatan is a great game, but it seems like it would be easier to just use the physical board game.
ReplyOH YEAH YEAH
ReplyPõe jogos de mundo aberto, como GTA 6 ou GTA 5 remasterisado, eu faria o impossível pra adquirir o VR
ReplyWell, that was definitely not what i expected…
ReplyI’ve never played this, but if it means you can play online with friends I’m all in!
ReplyJust buy tabletop simulator lol
ReplyThis looks like fun, I can find me playing this at a party
ReplyThis is terrible, just think about it. Catan isn’t a fast game.
ReplySitting hours with vr system on your head doesn’t seem healthy
Just release Table Top simulator for Playstation.
ReplyIs this VR only because that’s kinda dumb when they see releasing a non vr version and the board game is multiplayer
ReplyI can smell the microtransactions from here!
ReplySly Cooper collection remastered please please
ReplyWhy dont you play board game in real life instead?
ReplyThe game that has started fueds, wars & loss of friendships Now on VR!
ReplyShould be intresting lol!
Subscribe me plz
ReplyWhy tho? Like, Why? What’s the point? Why waste your time making this? Maybe im wrong, maybe i dont get this, but i dont get it. Buy a VR headset, and play a board game? WHY?! Aaah I don’t understand.
ReplyI’ve liked Catan since Xbox days. Ps3 had it…Finally now PS4..Can this be played without vr?
ReplyYes please !!
ReplyWill it have local multiplayer though? So that 3 others can use the screen?
ReplyImagine playing Yu Gi Oh in this style. Never really played it but if it were to look like they dueled in the showz that would be sick!
ReplyIf possible, please have non vr version! I definitely want this game
