All 32 LEGO The Hobbit Red Bricks and Mithril Design Schematics. Listed below will be red brick, mithril design required, location and whether or not you need a particular side quest and if so, which one. LEGO The Hobbit has 32 different Mithril weapons and item designs that you can craft at the blacksmith in Bree. These are all quest items for all 32 red brick quests given to you by the residents of Middle Earth. The quest givers all have a red question mark indicating their location. If you can’t find one, turn the time of day. Also, not all of the red brick quests will be available until after you have done a side quest that unlocks the red brick quest. All the Mithril objects require many resources and will require many Mithril bricks and you will need to find all of them if you want to acquire all the red bricks. After completing the game, you have the ability to free roam and you can play each story level in free roam that will allow you to select any of your characters at any time. Many of the collectibles in each level, including Mithril schematics will require a special ability that you didn’t have available during your first story playthrough. After the story, you will need to acquire an explosive weapon to break open mithril objects as well as the “necromancer” or another evil character to access areas protected by the dark clouds.

Some of the prerequisite quests required for some of the red bricks is incomplete. I will add them in once I have the information
ReplyOther quest(s) to enable Perfect Forging? I just want to get rid of that annoying mini-game in Bree blacksmith. I have made 15 designs already and just want to make the other without the mini-game.
ReplyHelp?
You can’t avoid the mini-game unfortunately. You can make it go slightly faster and easier with Perfect Forging. It might save you only a few minutes total in the end with it. The forging and the construction builds were both annoying after awhile.
ReplyAll well and good, thanks. But where is (are) the mid quests for that bloody brick! You did not answer that.
ReplyI haven’t figured that out yet. I tried keeping track along the way, but it was one of the red bricks that just appeared without me noticing. I will update this if I get confirmation on it. It’s either tied to a nearby red brick or there is a quest nearby that requires you to herd a bunch of animals. It may be tied to that quest line.
ReplyOn your vid the char is the same hobbit that looks similar to the dance boots and mallet in Bywater. But I don’t have any available quests in Hobbiton, so I am at a loss. Only day or night quest I have in either place are the Sinister Blade quest and the Chicken hat quest. No other quests in Hobbiton or Bywater.
ReplySee what happens when you complete either of those, I’m assuming you got all the red brick quests completed in the area too? It could be a quest elsewhere too. 8-Bit Music for example, requires a quest line in Pine Forest. I do hope you can report your findings if you get it to unlock.
ReplyYes, from Bree on I have some of the red brick quests… closest one is the Poo studs left to complete, but his character is a one off. The 8x brick quest had the same lady as the quest giver for all early line quest for the 8x brick. But I hope one of us finds it so we can report how to unlock.
ReplyAs much as I’m am lost I am sure it is a red brick quest that unlocks it, just hate forging, actually just hate that forging mini game… Lol
How to get mithril brick in lake town? Theres a turn crank I need to unlock. I dont know how. Its my last one aha
ReplyThis is for the Bandit Gloves, right? The one in the cellar? If so, you need to break open the drawers with the gold hook on the front of them and then you can pick up the crank there off the floor.
ReplyMigrating to a new comment system. Comments will have disappeared and “hopefully” will come back.
ReplyStill no luck on the missing quest for red brick Perfect Forging?
ReplySo to me, and maybe others, this video guide is not complete. You still don’t have the minor quest that unlocks red brick Perfect Forging.
ReplyOther YouTube trophy hunter/walkthrough guides don’t have it either, so I, we, are depnding on you to find it.
I’m not going to replay it again to figure the leading quests. There’s also 3 others that I didn’t catch the required quests either. As long as you do all quests, you’ll unlock it. Are you having difficulties still acquiring this?
ReplyYes sir, unfortunately I am. I am hoping this is not a Lake Town “Hide n Seek” bug but I have all quests completed in Hobbiton except this annoying one.
ReplyHi, i’ve done almost all the missions on the map. here’s my little problem. I can’t do the last blacksmith’s mithril design because i’m still seven mithril bricks short. I found every single mithril brick on the map and i’ve maxed out every level. Where are my last seven bricks? did i miss something?
ReplyThere is a white brick near to the right of the patching things up quest on the map.How do I get it
