There are other toolboxes in this world, however, they will only appear if you don’t get a previous toolbox. This guide shows you the first five you can get.

 Toolbox #1 (Bill’s Town – Graveyard) – This is located in the first floor of the church, or safehouse. This is where Bill give’s you the nail bomb.

 Toolbox #2 (Pittsburgh – Alone and Forsaken) – This will be in the garage you and Ellie enter after the first encounter after crashing into town. Open the door and it’ll be right there on your left.

 Toolbox #3 (The Suburbs – Sewers) – You will come to a spot where you need to get Ellie over some water using a pallet to turn on a generator. When you reach the other side and climb out of the water, follow the path and to the left will be a room with the tools.

 Toolbox #4 (The University – Science Building) – Right when you enter this building, take main hallway all the way down to the end and enter a Shiv Door on the right. It’ll be on the table.

 Toolbox #5 (Bus Depot – Highway Exit) – When you enter the Triage area with all the tents, head to the large tent on the left side of this area. Enter the largest tent and this will be just to the right.
