The Knowledge
Find all collectibles in the campaign
You can view which collectibles you have by selecting “Collectibles” at the main menu. In this screen, you can see all the ones you have collected and listen to the Audio Logs and view the Dossiers, Newspapers and Comic Book Pages. The Comic Book Pages when completely collected will give you a full Comic Book issue that you can read. For any missing collectible, it will not only tell you which chapter it is in, but also which section of that chapter it can be found. Chapter 1 does not have any collectibles
You can also view which chapters have missing collectibles in the chapter select screen, although it won’t tell you which section they are in. In this screen, you can scroll up and down to select the chapter and left and right to select the section. Some collectibles immediately saved once I had collected them (Audio Logs specifically), but I did have others that did not save even after completing the section and I had to replay that section all the way to the end of the chapter. I don’t know if it was a bug or if that’s by design.

Clean This Up
- Comic Page – After gaining control of your character and dropping into a hole in the floor, you will make your way up and you will enter duct vent. Instead of turning left in the direction of the story path, turn right and make your way down the duct and you will see this in a small opening on the right.
- Audio Log – After moving the platform and then dropping down onto an enemy from above, you will enter a door into a new room. Go to the far back right corner of this area and there will be stairs leading up to a bathroom with the audio log between the two toilets.
- Dossier – Leave the previous room with the collectible and you will have two enemies that you will do a double melee attack on. In this same room against the wall will be a bench with the dossier sitting on top of it.
You Have The Intel?
- Comic Page – After reaching the outside area and getting OWL, you will drop down from a higher cliff to where two enemies will be. Follow this around to where it ends. You will see a fence below you where the dam meets the cliff side. Jump down towards that fence and onto the small ledge in front of it. Make your way to the right and around it and you’ll see it sitting along the fence.
- Audio Log – From the Comic book, zipline down to the area with all the trees. In the center of this section will be a lookout tower that you can climb up to the top where this will be.
- Comic Page – This is in the building next to the burning plane wreckage. Enter the building and zipline down to the lowest level on the opposite side. Make your way to the bottom of this building and it’ll be in a corner.
- Comic Page – Near the base of the rock cliff where you will climb up to the AA gun location, you will see a raised rock platform on the left. Make your way up the path on the cliff and when you get to the part where the rocks fall leaving a gap that you must jump over, climb up to the next highest ledge. From here, look for a tower platform just past that raised rock. Set a zipline to that tower and then use to drop from the zipline and on top of that small rock.
- Dossier – Make your way back up the rock cliff until you get to the second time the pathway crumbles and falls to the ground. Just to the right of that will be a small area where you will find this hidden in the bushes.
- Newspaper – This is in the top floor in the communication tower to the left of the panel that you need to use OWL to hack.
Presumed Dead
- Audio Log – After regaining gravity, you will enter a door and be in a somewhat dark room. There will be a set of stairs on the left as you’re walking through this room. Take these stairs down and at the bottom of them swing around to the right and go back under the stairs and follow this path to the end where you will see this audio log flashing at you in the dark.
Restore The Power
(due to level design and how it backtracks a bunch, most collectibles can be earned during Restore the Power)
- Audio Log – This will be in the zero gravity shaft. As you move upwards, the first structure you come upon to will have this sitting on the top of it. This chapter has two objectives that can be done in any order. One path will be below you and another will be above you. The order of this collectible guide will following the upper objective.
Upper Objective (Crew Quarters)
- Audio Log – As soon as you enter the crew’s quarters, there will be a ladder just to your right with a lower section. Drop down here and this will be near the deceased crewmen in the blue body bags. For a point of reference, this will be considered the starting room.
- Audio Log – This starting room has two main paths, one to the left and one to the right. Both of these paths will meet up at the same place but each of them have collectibles and it’s possible to completely miss the other path. Start off with the right path and you will see a door in front of you that you need to open with a Petrusite Capacitor. Move past this and enter the next open doorway and you will find another capacitor in the following room. Pick that up and bring it back to open the door you first came upon. Once open, take the capacitor near the door that was already open when you entered here and bring that upstairs with you to open another door. Just past that will be a room to the right with the audio log sitting on a bunk.
- Audio Log – Head back to the starting room and take the left path. Pull the capacitor out that you first come across and that will extinguish the fire in the room. Once you enter the room there will be a burnt body holding up the audio log.
- Audio Log – Head to the room after the fire room. This is where you need to insert three capacitor’s to open the door. In the back left corner of this area on top of a cart will be the audio log.
- Comic Page – Continue onward and you will eventually make your way to the bridge. Before the bridge there will be a hallway on the right. This is where the other path circles around to. Head down this hallway and you will see a drone on your left. Shoot it and near its location will be a door opening panel on the wall that opens a door and reveals a ladder. Climb the ladder and enter a small room that will have another ladder leading down. Take this second ladder to the comic book location.
- Dossier – Now head back the way you came and proceed to the bridge. Once you enter the room there will be a set of stairs on the left and if you take those down you will see this sitting in the middle of the floor.
Lower Objective (Engineering)
- Audio Log – (video has this and the next in opposite order) Make your way back to the zero gravity area and head towards the objective at the bottom. This will take you to Engineering. Once you enter Engineering, follow the left wall around the room and it will eventually take you to an audio log.
- Newspaper – In the Engineering room, go to the far back left corner from where you entered from. There will be a capacitor in the wall just to the left of a door. Take that out and it will open the door and this will be on the ground on the right side of the room. NOTE – You must get this before going to the next section where you restore the power as it won’t open your second time here.
- Comic Page – Take the ramp down to the next area. When you enter this room you will see a vent that you can climb into with a orange light behind it. If you can’t find it, use your scan ability. Open this vent and climb up and it’ll take you to a weapons room. In the back of this extremely dark room and up some stairs you will see this on a counter.
- Audio Log – go back to the previous room from the comic page location and you will remove another capacitor to open a door. Once you open it, go through it and drop down to the floor and then turn back around and it’ll be just to the left of the ladder that gets you back up.
She Wants To Defect
- Dossier – This is in the medical room with the body laying on a table in the center. Head up the stairs and onto the second floor balcony. This will be sitting on a console located just above the entrance to the room.
Bury The Truth
- Comic Page – This will be in the third room of the burning sun section. It’ll be on the second floor of this room in the back right corner.
- Audio Log – In the very next room from the comic page, there will be an elevator you must take in the back left corner. Just to the left of the elevator will be the audio log.
On Vektan Soil
- Newspaper – After going through the security checkpoint right at the beginning, stay to the right and it’ll be sitting on a bench.
- Comic Page – During your first battle you will enter a destroyed and burning building. Before dropping down to the lower levels, you’ll find some stairs further back and on the left. Take those and follow this path to the end and it’ll be sitting on the arm of a couch.
- Audio Log – After dropping down through the floor you will be in a circular area with a couple rooms along the outside wall. The one without the security system that you need to stop at to progress the story will have an audio log in the back left corner.
- Dossier – After exiting the circular rooms through the exit you will see a bench and this will be sitting on the left side of it.
Hunt These People Down
- Comic Page – This is in the train area. This will be on the first train you enter to the left of the panel you use OWL to access.
- Comic Page – This will be in the second train you enter and will be on the left side of the first train car tucked into one of the seats.
- Comic Page – After the second train has an explosion, you’ll climb up a yellow ladder to a higher vantage point. Look across the way to the far train tracks and zipline down to the platform (careful of oncoming trains). On the backside of this platform there will be a ladder going down to a lower platform. On this will be the Comic Page.
I Want Tyran’s Head
- Dossier – After rappelling through the glass ceiling in the next section, turn around and follow the outside wall and you’ll see this sitting on top of a crate.
- Audio Log – This will be on the second floor of the same building. Take the stairs up and it’ll be in the first room to the right.
- Newspaper – After the brief train scene, proceed further until you come up to an enemy with his back to you. There are two security checkpoints in this area, one on the left and one on the right. After clearing the enemies, the newspaper will be sitting on a fruit stand near the alarm terminal.
- Audio Log – When you came into the area where you got the Newspaper, take the path through the security points to the left. Keep left and as you go down the escalator, you’ll see a brightly lit Helghast sign with two enemies and some civilians underneath it. Kill the soldiers and this will be on the table next to them.
- Dossier – To the right of the previous collectible is a path that goes up a set of stairs and then another set of stairs into a building. Go to the right when you enter the building and you will see this on a cot.
- Audio Log – As you look at the Dossier you just got, take the door just to the left. Go right and make your way to the back corner to the left. There will be a scanner that you can shoot and you can then proceed in. There will be a vent along the ground on the left wall that you can enter. Follow that and it’ll be to the back right corner of this new area.
- Comic Page – Go back to where you got the first collectible in this chapter and proceed to take the right path through the other security checkpoint. follow along to the right and up the stairs with a red light emitting from them. Continue back and take a right down the path with the glowing red Helghast signs. Head straight and at the end there will be Comic Page sitting on a bed in the back left corner.
- Comic Page – Turn back around and head the way you came, through the bright Helghast signs and continue straight back from here. You will come across a pair of escalators that you need to take up that will eventually loop around and to the door out of this area. There will be a lot of enemies in this section and after you clear the area, but before you go through the opened door, look across from the opened door and there will be another door you can enter and grab the page.
- Audio Log – This will be in the room with the giant elevator that you will take down out of this section. Before getting on the elevator look for the audio log in the back on some shelving.
Think You’re Special?
- Audio Log – When the elevator stops, get out and go right and follow the path all the way around until you see a couch. It’ll just be to the left of the couch.
Make Him Pay
- Dossier – Once you meet the young people who pull out a gun at you, follow the path along and go through two different doors at various points. After the second door, continue on just a little bit and you will see an open door to your right that will have the Dossier
- Audio Log – Continue the path and you’ll turn left. Keep an eye out for a walkway on the left-hand side. The collectible will be on top of a green barrel at the end of that path.
- Audio Log – Continue on and you’ll head down several flight of stairs and come to an area with some enemies and civilians. When leaving this area you will head down a path but before turning head straight and you’ll see some more green barrels with the log sitting on top of it.
- Audio Log – This is not far from the previous one and it’s right where a large group of enemies will come out and attack you. In the center of the area from which they are coming from will be a sink with an audio log sitting right on it.
- Comic Page – Really close to the previous collectible. If you are standing in front of the sink facing it, turn around and head down the dead end path and you can crouch under a container to a nice hidden area with the comic book.
Hunt The Shadow
- Comic Page – This is after taking another elevator ride. Once you get off you will come up to a guard with his back to you at an intersecting path. Take the path to the right and enter first door on the left and it’ll be in this container.
- Comic Page – At the intersection where you took the right, go back and now take the left path and take it to the very end just past the right turn you can make and the comic will be on the box.
- Comic Page – You need to go down that right turn that you passed to get the previous comic. So if you’re facing the box where the collectible was, turn around and take the immediate left turn. Travel to the opposite side of this area and in the back left corner will be the comic page.
Make Your Country Proud
- Dossier – This is in Tyran’s Safehouse. You will need to access a terminal on the first floor, but in this room on the desk will also be the Dossier.
I’ll Protect You
- Dossier – This is just after the beginning where you need to jump cross some containers. You will then need to turn left and then turn right. To the left will be a doorway that you can enter which will lead you to the Dossier.
- Dossier – The next one will be where there are two guards with flashlights who will be standing on the opposite side of the area. Behind them will be the collectible but you aren’t equipped to take them on. What you’ll need to do is let them path away from where they start from and then sneak over to where it’s lying against a box.
- Audio Log – Continue from the section where the Dossier was and you will come up to some stairs where you need to turn right and you’ll see a blue and yellow container. The audio log will be sitting on top of the horizontal yellow cross bar.
- Comic Page – You will travel along some pipes, drop down to a lower section and then travel over some more pipes. You will drop down and are suppose to go to the left but if you go to the right and inside a doorway on the right, you will find this collectible.
Up And Running
- Comic Page – After you do the spider bot tutorial, you will come to an open area with enemies where you can use your partner to snipe the enemies in this area. Just after extending the bridge platform so that you can cross it, you will come to a door with a security camera mounted up high near it. Enter this door and there will be two Helghast soldiers giving a civilian a hard time. Save this civilian by taking out the enemies and the civilian will open a door to a room where the comic book will be.
- Dossier – At the end of the next major area, you will need to go up to a second floor room and hit an access button to open the door below it to leave the area. In this room, on the ground, will be the Dossier.
- Audio Log – In the next area, you will need to take the escalator up to the second floor. On this floor you will see some civilians in the center of it grouped around a tree. To the right of them will be a room with the audio log sitting on a bed.
Can You Trust Me?
- Comic Page – After getting the previous audio log you will go to the third floor and exit this area and come to the next section in the game. You will open the door and see a Helghast soldier just to the left. Just past him will be a vent that you can crawl through and at the end of it will be the Comic Page.
- Audio Log – You will come up to your first walker. Once he’s dead, head up the stairs just left of the door that you will eventually need to exit. At the top of the stairs and just to the right, you can climb up to a higher position. Here you will find a sniper rifle and the audio log.
- Comic Book – You will take another elevator. After getting off of it, you will turn left and see a building in front of you with orange windows. In this building will be the comic book.
See What I See
- Newspaper – You will take ride on a container after the first bit of sniping and need to cross over to the next container. You are asked to take cover in that container so just simply drop down into in and the newspaper will be hard to spot.
In This Together
- Audio Log – After taking another container ride over to the next section and after giving back the sniper rifle that was given to you, stay to the right. Along the right wall on top of a crate will be the Audio log
- Comic Page – From the previous collectible, proceed down the path and then before going up to the tower, make your way to the left and there will be a side room with the page sitting on a crate.
Keep Running
- Comic Page – After crashing just outside the wall, you will need to just run to the wall. After going up the stairs but before going through the doorway, the Comic Page will be sitting on some supplies to the left.
- Audio Log – This is in the very beginning after you exit space. This collectible will be on a small platform to the right of the door you need to enter. You can zipline down to it.
- Comic Page – After the free fall section, you will have a round structure in front of you that you need to enter. Before doing that, the comic page will be at the end of one of the four short dead end pathways.
Bring Me Massar
- Comic Page – After dropping down, you will go through two different doors. Go to the back left corner of the next room and it’ll be sitting on the ground.
- Dossier – Just a little bit further you will enter a white room with orange windows. Go out the doorway to the left and turn right and it’ll be the first building on your left hand side. This is the building where you need to access the control panel with OWL. You can get into the building easiest by shooting out the glass windows and climbing in and the collectible will be sitting right in front of you.
- Comic Page – This is in the same area but in the building on the opposite side from where you start. It’s on the ground right next to the touch panel.
- Audio Log – After clearing out the area and handling the objectives in the area from the two previous collectibles, you’ll drop down the hole in the center and from here you can drop down again to a lower section and the audio log will be down here.
It’s Waiting For You
- Dossier – This is in the room where you finally meet Massar. While she’s talking look on a table to the right side of the room.
Secure The Target
- Newspaper – After the space flying escort part of the mission, you will need to return to the ground and hit a control panel. Right next to the control panel on the ground will be a newspaper for you to collect.
- Comic Page – This is in the final area of the chapter which is the next big area after getting the Newspaper. When you enter the area, you will need to go to the far left side to get to the next objective. Instead of going there, head towards the opposite end of the room and keep to the right side. and it’ll be on a workbench just past the building you exited from. Make sure to grab this before you get to the objective and trigger a large scale fight.
- Comic Page – After flying through the city you will land on a rooftop with an hole in the roof just in front of you. Drop down that hole and it’ll be just in front of you to the left.
This Was Our Home
- Audio Log – You will come to a gravity well. This will float you up to a higher level. Just to the left of the exit to this building you’re in and on some rubble will be the collectible.
- Audio Log – This is after second gravity well. Once you reach the top, look way down below for the stairs. Underneath those stairs you should see some glowing supplies you can pick up. Right next to those will be the audio log.
- Dossier – Just after getting the previous one, you will come to a mobile scan unit. As you exit the building into the area with the scan unit, turn right and keep along the edge of the building. There will be a little ramp and you can enter the next building and there will be a room in the back that you can enter for the Dossier.
- Audio Log – This is right behind the mobile scan unit on the stairs going up. It’s right at the base of the second set of stairs going up.
We’ve Got Company
(This area is open world so these can be collected in any order and from several directions. I recommend watching the video for exact location starting at 1:57 due to how confusing it can be)
- Audio Log – This is the first of six collectibles just in this one area. You will enter a door and see the building fall apart in front of you. Before dropping down, head to the right and back and you’ll see this next to the blue glowing object.
- Audio Log – Head back to where you started this section at. If you look down below you can see some weapons and ammo glowing. Zipline down to this spot and the audio log will be among all the pickups.
- Dossier – This is also in the fallen building. It can be extremely confusing to describe but you want to look for a little window opening from the spot you got the audio log. Go through this and climb up immediately to the left and then head 20 feet forward and climb up again. After climbing up the second time, it’ll be just to your left on the ground.
- Comic Page – This is in the front right corner of this large area. If you are looking at the spot where the Dossier was, turn around and go to the window. You should see a gravity well to the right. You can zipline to the floor right above it. Once you get there, head back and you will see a spider mine machine with a small opening that is boarded up. Shoot (or let the spiders blow it up) to allow access into a small room with the comic page.
- Audio Log – This is in the far right back corner of the entire area. You can get to it from the previous comic page if you go back to the spider mine machine and enter the doorway to the left of it. Follow this back and then to the right and it will be in the room with the wall blown out on the left side next to an ammo pickup.
- Newspaper – This will be in the back left of the area. From the previous collectible, run straight across to the opposite side while avoiding the mobile scan unit. You will enter the main entrance of a building with just the front of the building remaining. Enter this and look to the left for the newspaper.
Tyran Lives
- Audio Log – After destroying the scan unit, you will enter the building behind it. You will drop down an opening and fall about five floors. At the bottom, there will be a room to the left with the collectible in the corner. (If you chapter select this section, you will start ahead of this and will need to backtrack)
- Comic Page – This will be just after the cut scene where they fly Tyran away. Head straight and you will see a container a little to the right. Go inside there and you will find the page.
It Must Be Destroyed
- Newspaper – You will come up to a soldier with his back towards you overlooking the next area you will go to. Take him out and then look out ahead and zipline down to the closest building to you. Go inside this building and in the back corner of the first floor you will find this.
- Comic Page – This will be just ahead, where the mobile scan unit is located. In front of it will be a building. If you go to the opposite side of the building from where you enter the area there will be a door that will take you to a room with a hatch you can drop down into to grab the collectible.
- Dossier – After destroying the Mobile Scan Unit and defending the area, the large door will finally open. Enter this and go to the left side and you will see it on some push carts.
History Will Remember You
- Comic Page – There are three in the section where you will have multiple waves of enemies and then fight it out with Tyran. The first will be within a door on the back of the building. When you open the door you will be surprised by a spider bomb but the Comic Book will be sitting on a crate in plain view.
- Audio Log – This will be in the main part of the building. Enter it from the front and it’ll be on the second floor on the control panel
- Comic Page – You will find the Comic Page in front of the building a ways. You will need to drop down to a lower platform. So if you exit the front door, head straight back and a little to the right and you will see the top of a ladder which will indicate the spot you should drop down. It’ll just be to the right of the panel you need to hack with OWL to prevent reinforcements. It’ll be very close to this ladder on the lower platform.
The Weak Perish
- Comic Page – This will be quite a bit further into the chapter. You will do some space travel and then when you gain your gravity you’ll eventually come to a long hallway that is filled with weapons and ammo on each side. You’ll know it when you see it. Halfway down this hallway on the right side on the floor will be the comic.
- Audio Log – Just a bit further you will come to a room with a large holographic orange globe. Behind it there will be three pillars and the audio log will be right behind the middle one.
- Dossier – This is in the room with the final battle in the chapter. On each side of the room in the back, is a door where multiple enemies will come through about halfway through this fight. After the enemy reinforcements open and come through the left door, go through that door and you’ll see the collectible sitting outside.
Comic Page – This is outside near the control panel where you knock out the first level security system. Enter through the secret entrance from the water with the bush blocking the opening. Once through the bush, it’ll be right in front of you.
