SHAREfactory Video Editor for PS4 Breakdown and Impressions

Sony Unveiled it’s built in video editor for the PS4 that will allow you to easily edit and combine video clips and share them.  This will go live in firmware update 1.70 due around the end of this month. In this video I breakdown the app and discuss what I liked or didn’t like based soley on the trailer they have shown us, not the actual full app. Without having access to the full app, I may have some details wrong about the final product

Direct to YouTube video uploading is not supported. You must export to a USB drive and then take that to another computer to upload it. Also not known, is the render resolution. I fear it might be to compressed.

Other features of the 1.7 update is the ability to turn of HDCP for people wanting to capture video with a capture device. Also, pre-downloading pre-ordered games will be allowed so you can start playing your game at midnight, not start downloading your 40GB game

They say soon, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see it around the end of the month.
