So by just watching the trailer it seems like some cult has formed in town or came to the town who is killing people if they don’t accept being part of said cult. So your character either lives there and the cult comes or he moved into the town and your characters already there and the town fight back against them. Definitely not sold on this yet need to see more and gameplay my fear is it will be just like far cry 3/4 in terms of gameplay. So far this games a pass like Primal was. Primal wasn’t good I think it was the wrong time period to take on. Hopefully they bring more to the table and it’s not like 3/4.

It’s kinda retarded everyone keeps referring this to Outlast 2 just because it came out a few months before this trailer.

The Towns People in Outlast 2 were brainwashed in the believing the world was gonna end by Murkoff Corp’s tech, it also mutated them.

From what we’re shown here, this just a Militia based Cult with enough resources to be considered a Paramilitary level of force, in other words they probably own over local authorities or straight up overpowered and killed them.

Isolation is still a thing in America, Montana is mostly Mountain Ranges, and Hill Country, and few Cities, The largest one there is the city of Anaconda, and it roughly has a population of about 9,000 to 10,000~ish people. So there’s plenty of these small Towns that are pretty isolated from the majority of Urban life. It’s called Country life for a reason, Livin’ out in the country.

I definitely like the looks of it. But I just hope we have a main character that makes sense… maybe ex-military, a gun nut, something like that. Just not a guy that was a pilot, or a dudebro, that gets magic tattoos and all of a sudden knows how to use a rocket launcher, C4 and assault rifle effectively.
