As with most BETA programs, in order for the development team to capture data in an optimal manner, the sample size needs to be increased gradually and in stages. While we begin to roll out the BETA, we have decided that the time differences across the U.S. are best matched to the development team in Tokyo.
During the initial phase, our servers will be open for users during specific times across the day. We will share these times closer to the BETA launch across our social channels and GT.com.
And for anyone who doesn’t get a chance to participate in the closed BETA, we hope to be back on the PlayStation Blog soon to announce more details regarding a larger BETA access for the community…stay tuned!

Love all the delusional PlayStation fanboys hating on Forza simply because they can’t play it. Forza Horizon 3 doesn’t have 91 on Metacritic for nothing you know, there’s a reason why Forza is the highest rated racing franchise of the past decade. Gran Turismo has fallen behind the competition.

The graphics look amazing but it still can’t beat Forza
Forza 2 was the best forza, it was awesome how u could bid for cool paint jobs. Now forza comes out every yr and im tired of it, guess ill go back to grand turismo

Honestly, coming from a Playstation and GT fan, I don’t see the point of comparing those with the Xbox and Forza series. Both are great simcade racing titles in their own ways.

How GREAT would it be for Gran Turismo to implement a REAL TIME weather/time mechanic. Using weather.com website and your location, the game would know if its raining, cloudy, day/night where YOU LIVE/current location and implement the date on the races you are about to participate in. But, also give an option to turn ON/OFF this feature (would also work if the race is set in Monaco, the weather on the race would be what it is in Monaco at that VERY moment) That… would be AWESOME!

No need to fight. It’s ridiculous. GT and Forza are two awesome series. Best hours I’ve had were on Ps2 with GT4. Since GT6, I’m playing Forza 6. I’m afraid to take GT Sport day one because of the 5 who had a dramatic launch.
