Looks alright but still can’t shake the feeling that this doesn’t really

Capcom couldn’t come up with an original plot so they took from Silent Hill
2 a much better horror game.

Am I actually afraid of a resident evil game?

Reading some comments you can clearly see that a lot of people here not
even follow the RE7 teasers. Everything from the classic RE is already
confirmed, guns, action, monsters, puzzle, green herb, not to mention the
horror, and looks like this trailer confirmed the zombies, and yet i have
to read stupid comments about how this “isn’t RE” -_-

virus? If so did they change the theme of the game?

Everyone was skeptical about the jump from 3 to 4. Everyone turned out
loving 4. Same situation.

Did RE just became a supernatural game?

Isn’t this the same plot from Silent Hill 2? “Guy receives message from his
dead wife and goes to a creepy place find her”

Ok this clearly has got nothing to do with RE and they just slapped the
name on the game to sell copies.

This game is going to be so lit. I don’t care about the negative comments,
because the same people would easily purchase Call of Duty or Pointless
Destiny Expansion packs that triples the price of the base game.

that the game was not just zombie shooting or those ‘badly made child’

RE7 will be good I’m certain based on gameplay videos I have seen but this
trailer was bad unfortunately, doesn’t help to promote the game to old
school fans imo, they could do a much better one that will show all the
familiar stuff to fans & make them understand that this is truly a RE game
because many have their doubts atm.

Ok where is the zombies? where is the action Capcom? did you ran out of
ideas for new zombies and then made this game?

All I’m seeing is Silent Hill, basically. I haven’t seen anything about
Umbrella or zombies to make me think this has anything to do with Resident
Evil. I’m not saying this won’t be an effectively creepy or scary game, but
I don’t see why this is called Resident Evil. It’s almost like because that
Silent Hill game got cancelled Capcom said, “We better take advantage of
that, that PT demo was oddly popular.”

They we’re right, but wrong for hating this move.

This looks dope and I’m sure it will be, but, this is NOT Resident Evil..
this is something else. Capcom should have just called this something else
and would have a new IP instead of falsely labeling it “Resident Evil”

Is anyone else getting a “Season of the Witch” kinda vibe from this game?
Like, I want it and I feel like it’s gonna be awesome, but it feels like an
extreme departure from the other Resi games. Like, in the John Carpenter,
“We need to make this series as great as possible with a new direction”
kinda way with Halloween 3.

Regardless, still gonna buy it.

This game is so disappointing. It’s not Resident Evil. Just have to hope
they don’t ruin the RE2 remake at this point.

So the plot concept is basically Silent Hill 2?

So I was right. The family’s house is a front to a secret, possibly
umbrella, facility that lies underneath that houses the bio weapons. Just
like the house in RE1. Not only that but you see something that looks
Uroboros related in the trailer. I’m guessing the game ends where you
inadvertently release the new virus to the local populace whist trying to
save your wife.
