I feel the water monster in Amnesia is as subjectively scary as the “You’re
not perfect” thing from Courage the Cowardly Dog.
I get that people are scared of them… what I don’t get is *why* people
are scared of them. The water monster is just splashes of water that chase
after you and the YNP guy is just a bizarre looking guy who doesn’t do
anything.
I don’t know. I just don’t see what’s there to be afraid of. I understand
being creeper out by the grunts–they’re hideous. But the water monster?
Ehh…

Its sad that this is one of the most influential games of the decade cause
its what ruined horror games just like how Blair witch project ruined
horror movies. :/
