Maybe it’s just me, but that art style seems really weird with the rest of
the visuals. It’s like the world is all detailed and realistic looking
while the characters are super moe and anime-ish. Lol.

looks good, lip syncing is some of the worst i’ve seen in a long while
tho… and usually with jrpgs it’s that it’s just synced to the japanese
voice acting, but this just seems like they’ve just made their mouths move
at random while talking…
but ah well it’s a minor gripe, should be a great game and at least the
voice acting seems pretty good..
that dubbing was terrible…their mouths didn’t match with the words at
all…

Star Ocean 4: The Trash hope is forgiven.
This looks like garbage, the animations are horrendous, the only thing that
looks nice are the textures, even the geometry is bad. It’s like they took
a PS2 game and added good textures and effects.
Looking forward to this…

I don’t hate the art style, it’s actually kind of cool. But do their faces
have to be so… dead looking? Their lips barely move and they show no real
emotion. Is it meant to be like that? I can’t decide yet on whether this
will be one to pass up or not.

Hmmm. Hmmmmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Hmmmmm. What to think? The dialogue for me
seems a little forced and lacks authenticity. I personally hate do-gooder
main characters who insist on risking their life for others; characters
need some drawback making them interesting and I imagine this main
character will constantly throughout the game, go beyond the call of duty
to be a hero pissing me off in the process. We NEED moody characters and
those that judge others on their ridiculous actions, which is one of the
reasons FF7+8 were so successful.
I am most likely jumping the gun here and excuse all the idioms, but I had
such high hopes for this game and cannot stand another kiddy RPG like Ni no
Kuni, which had great gameplay, but a pathetic storyline.

World Design and art seems gorgeus. Character art-style is ok(if you are
used to WEEB content like me) but the purple haired girl is like, prepared
to appear in my nightmares. Uncanny valley at it’s best.
